We envision a place where all people are fully accepted and can experience the unconditional love of God.

We envision a seeking-community that keeps an open mind to the questions of faith that people have struggled with in all times and places. In this community, we speak in provisional terms by acknowledging our limited understanding and reserving the right through growth and development to come to a deeper, more enlightened understanding to our questions of faith.

We envision a community of faith that celebrates and seeks to live out the life and witness of Jesus, the Christ through the ever-indwelling presence and power of God’s Spirit and one that is united in its belief in the worth and dignity of all people, and the obligation to express faith through acts of justice and compassion.

We envision a Real Life Today Church in each of the eight (8) Wards in the District of Columbia. These community churches will be intrinsically entrenched in the spiritual, social, economic, and political affairs of its respective ward for the uplifting and betterment of the District’s citizens.

We envision a prophetic ministry that stands as a social witness to injustice in our community and the world and who also stands as a voice of prophetic protest that is informed, inspired, and mobilized to make a difference strategically and with intentionality in the service of global justice and global transformation.

We envision people maturing spiritually, mentally, and physically through Bible and Life Studies, small groups, Counseling, Life-enrichment activities, seminars, retreats, and a Spiritual Formation and Development Institute for all who have a desire for growth.

We envision equipping every partner in our church to have significant impact through the development and utilization of his/her individual and God-given gifts, talents, and calling.
