Children's Church Update!

During the last Children's Church, the children watched the movie, The Wiz, and had a discussion immediately after movie. The following is a list of the thoughts and ideas raised by the children.

  • - You are never going to know unless you try

  • - Do not accept any situation - argue and explore

  • - The scarecrow was listening to the crows who said that he could never win, but Dorothy told him all you need is a little self- confidence and you'll be fine.

  • - They told you that you couldn't do it and you beleived it.

  • - The scarecrow believed he was stupid, but actually he was very smart.

  • - Don't you carry nothing that might be a load

  • - Home keeps you really comfortable

  • - When you are in a new place it feels uncomfortable

  • - Sometimes even though things may seem one way it's not true

  • - Fun makes you forget the fear

  • - You have to try to learn new things even when things seem scary

RLTC Children's Church is a place for self-discovery, acceptance and freedom to explore. Join us as we make room for our children to be who they truly are.
